so many of us—especially in our latina community—were never taught how to slow down, regulate our nervous systems, or prioritize rest without guilt.

that is why we are opening our doors at the goldfinch for la pausa wellness club vol. 1.

hosted by nash latinas running co. and presented alongside eat loisa, siete foods, salud, and olas & flamingo, la pausa was created as a sunlit space for latinas to breathe, move, and reconnect with themselves and each other.

what la pausa is all about

la pausa is more than an event; it is a gentle head-to-toe reset for your body and mind. held across our indoor and outdoor spaces, the morning is designed to give you permission to step away from daily noise and immerse yourself in community.

• mindful movement & grounding: clearing physical tension from your body through gentle movement and immersive sound, giving your nervous system the chance to truly reset.

• honest conversations: opening up necessary dialogues around mental health, rest culture, and practical ways to bring regulation and peace back into your home life.

• supporting local latina makers: celebrating local entrepreneurship with a curated marketplace where you can sip fresh drinks, enjoy sweet treats, and shop small Latina-owned businesses.

• unfiltered community connection: surrounding yourself with women who share your roots, understand your journey, and value creating space for rest and growth together.
